Although we promised that we would be running the event in 2010 circumstances have overtaken us and we have not been able to secure a venue for the 2010 event. This unfortunately means no Mallett's Bash this year .

It seems since we last held the event in 2008 Bicton Arena has been significantly developed and is now an international equestrian eventing facility. The good news is that we will now have much improved facilities for the event in the future, the bad news is that everyone wants to use them! When we made enquiries for the event before Christmas we found out that the Arena's calendar was full until the last weekend on October, the weekend that the clocks change. For various reasons including safety it is not possible to run the event this late in the year, which unfortunately gives us no other option but to postpone the event until 2011. Sorry.

We DO intend to run the event in 2011 but in a slightly different format.

If anyone has any suggestions for the 2011 event or would like to volunteer their services please contact Adrian or Chris.

If you can't wait until why not give our Cyclo-Cross event ago instead.
