Great site. I'm very interested to hear about Peak Hill being used for H/C championship. Years ago, I organised a club (Exe Valley CRC) hill climb there. Particular memories are 1. The police sarge at Sidmouth thought it was going to be motorbikes! 2. The parents of one participant shouted ''come on son'' to get the reply - ''F**k ........(gasping for air).....OFF!'' within earshot of others watching! Good luck with your promotions

Just spent a very sunny half term week in Sidmouth to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Wanted to thank you for the 'East Devon' route guides which helped us plan some top off road rides. Now we know you exist I'll get in touch next time we're down in case anyone fancies a weekday / eve ride. Most memorable moment: swooping down off Mutters Moor toward Core(?) Hill onto the golf course - causing some prat of a golfer a who was about to take a swing to dig a rather large divot!!!! (Sorry any golfers reading - take up a proper sport)

An excellent site generally, but what was really useful to me was the information on training nutrition and eating on the bike. I'm riding solo in the Marin Dusk til Dawn on September 20th/21st (12 hours at night in Thetford Forest). I've done a lot of research about eating for this event and already had a lot of the info you have provided, but your site has pulled all the relevant info together in a very useful and easy to use format. Well done, and thanks. I'll be passing on your details to fellow competitors.
